Life Aquatic
The other day while sitting in a waiting room, I read this article in Smithsonian about photographer Bruce Mozert. He took some quirky underwater pictures in Silver Springs, Florida back in the late 30's and early 40's. There's something eerily interesting about them, thus making them blog worthy.

Read It and Weep
The concern, he said, is that the current rise in carbon dioxide levels—driven by human activity over the last 200 years, mostly the burning of fossil fuels—is causing unprecedented global warming and putting West Antarctica on the fast track to melting.
..."Even if it might take a thousand years or more for the West Antarctic Ice Sheet to disappear, the melting before then could be significant enough that humans should really be taking note ... as we worry about our future generations," Powell said.

Nice To Tweet You
I've caved.
I joined Twitter.
A friend was referring someone's "fascinating" updates and I had to see for myself.
Now I can't stop looking at stupid celebritys' "tweets". (Yes, "tweets" has now entered my vernacular.)
I'm really surprised at how much Ashton and Demi put up on the web...pictures, videos, etc. So far I've learned that "Mrs. Kutcher" has the same taste in books my mom and she is really enjoying her new Kindl.
My brain = mush.
Save me.
