Houston, We Have a Problem!

Hey Houston! Why y'all gotta be so dern stubborn?!

Click on the link above, and please share in my frustration.

Houston Resists Recycling, and Independent Streak Is Cited

When I read or hear "Independent Streak", I tend to think of a brash community activist or an unruly teen, not a backwards southwestern city that's too lazy to do their part for the environment. But hey, that's just me.

Well...it is Texas.

I think the only glimmer of hope that Texas has is Austin. It's a nice 'forward thinking' city. Well, except for the capitol building....

We have curbside pick up here but they don't recycle everything that they could. They just pick up the major things like cans, drink bottles, newspapers, glass...
